Samurai Champloo came out in 2004 and ran for one season. ![]() This becomes their goal throughout the series, along with helping Fuu find the “sunflower samurai.” After some back and forth, Jin and Mugen recognize each other’s different styles of swordsmanship, making them want to clash blades. Next enters the wanderer, Jin, who kills the prefect’s bodyguards before entering the teahouse. ![]() Mugen says he’ll save Fuu in exchange for food, so she offers him one hundred dumplings. Mugen arrives, briefly halting the argument until it escalates and the son threatens to chop off Fuu’s fingers. During a normal day’s work, Fuu faces harassment from the son of the town’s amoral prefect. The first is a young girl, Fuu, followed by a master ex-samurai named Jin and the wild, unpredictable wanderer Mugen. Samurai Champloo focuses on three protagonists during the Edo period (1603-1868). ![]()
